UN DOS Aviation Technical Reports, for Aviation-related Personnel (AvTC-03-2023)


Description
Goal
This course aims at providing UN DOS aviation related personnel, with the basic knowledge required for the effective implementation of the DPO/DOS Aviation and Aviation Safety Manuals procedures on Aircraft Inspections Reports, Aviation Carrier Evaluation Reports, and Commercial and Military Aviation Performance Evaluations Reports.

Course Description

It is a self-paced online course, consisting of Theoretical units with practical UN-tailored examples, Progress Tests, and a Mastery Test.

The theoretical units and UN-tailored examples are presented by the Regional Aviation Safety Office – Global Service Centre, Learning Management System virtual facilitators.

After each unit, there is a Progress Test, to evaluate the achievement of the Unit’s intermediate objectives.
After passing the Progress Test, you can proceed to the next Unit. There are no penalties for not passing them on the first attempt, you can take them as many times as needed.

At the end of the course, there will be the Mastery Test, to evaluate the achievement of the overall Course objectives. There are no penalties for not passing it on the first attempt. You can take it as many times as needed.

The progress of the course will be monitored as part of the DOS Aviation Safety Programme training and promotion activities.
