The Regional Aviation Safety Office (RASO), based in the Global Service Centre (GSC), provides regional aviation safety services and support to the Department of Operational Support (DOS) Aviation Safety Programme (ASP) activities.
Regional services: Through onsite regular visits and remote support, the RASO GSC provides advice and assistance to the head of the administration of the affiliated Missions in the establishment, implementation and management of each Missions’ Aviation Safety Programmes.
DOS/OSCM ASP Support: The RASO GSC supports the DOS ASP activities by leading, developing and delivering business solutions for various DOS/OSCM aviation safety projects, classroom and distance training courses, and safety promotion material for all DOS supported Missions with air assets.
